Roy’s wagyu beef mandu
Take a tasting trip through Korea without leaving Florida thanks to the new prix fixe menu at Roys Bonita Springs. The three-course Taste of Korea menu includes a choice of appetizer, one entre, and one dessert, giving you a chance to enjoy an entire Korean meal in a beautiful restaurant setting.

Roy’s crispy calamari salad
Start your meal with a selection of wagyu beef mandu or crispy calamari salad. The wagyu beef mandu was a delicious Korean dumpling with a tangy firecracker dipping sauce. And the crispy calamari salad was topped with fried calamari, Asian pear, and a yummy sesame miso dressing.

The Taste of Korea menu has two entrees to choose from. The delicious 48-hour galbi boneless beef short rib comes with a side of kim chee mash, bok choy mung, and bean sprouts. And the sesame-crusted salmon bibimbap is complemented by shiitake mushrooms, spinach, and gochujang quail egg for a lighter dinner option.

No meal would be complete without a sweet dessert at the end! And the dessert options on the Taste of Korea menu at Roys didnt disappoint. The Asian style cotton cheesecake was topped with lychee sauce, macerated Asian pears, and an amazing sesame seed lace tuile. It was almost too beautiful to eat!

But if you prefer another dessert option, you can choose from any of the delicious sweet treats from the traditional Roys menu. That means you can pick from the restaurants famous melting hot chocolate souffle, pineapple upside down cake, kaffir lime tart, or macadamia nut bread pudding.

We were able to try everything on the menu and I loved every bite. In addition to this being an amazing dining experience filled with Korean inspired flavors, every dish was plated beautifully, making the meal even more enjoyable.
This amazing menu is inspired by Roys creator and chef, Roy Yamaguchis heritage. Winner of the prestigious James Beard award and author of four cookbooks, Yamaguchi introduced this global tasting series to give diners an authentic culinary experience without having to leave the comfort of their hometown. Each item on the tasting menu is inspired by the ancient farming and nomadic traditions found within classic Korean cuisine. The Taste of Korea menu is the second in the global tasting series, which began with a Taste of Japan earlier this year.
The new Taste of Korea menu at Roys Bonita Springs is available for a limited time. The entire meal, including appetizer, entre, and dessert is $44 per person, making it the perfect excuse for a date night. Hurry and head to Roys Bonita Springs before this delicious and unique menu is gone!
