In addition to a large selection of birds, reptiles, and mammals, this zoo also has some amazing special wildlife exhibits. Be sure to check out the Florida panther, giraffes, lions, and clouded leopards.

C’mon Golisano Children’s Museum

Give your kids a chance to expand their imagination and learn through play at this popular family attraction in Naples. The Golisano Children’s Museum has a variety of hands-on exhibits, a two-story tree perfect for climbing, and a water play station. For some water fun away from the beach, take your kids to Sun-N-Fun Lagoon, a North Naples waterpark for kids of any age. With nine gardens filled with a variety of flowers, Naples Botanical Gardens is a great place for a relaxing afternoon with the family. Whether your kids visit the butterfly house to interact with the fluttering insects or just stroll along the beautiful grounds, your kids will love taking in all the interesting plants at this Naples attraction. Your kids will love the children’s garden and corresponding monthly programming, which allows children to explore and learn through monthly themes.

Conservancy of Southwest Florida

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s Nature Center you can take a journey through the unique Southwest Florida ecosystems and learn about local species from snakes and alligators to different kinds of fish and their new ambassador a baby loggerhead sea turtle. Many of the exhibits are interactive and my kid’s favorite is the touch tank.

You can also take an electric boat ride with a guide who shares a wealth of information about the mangrove habitats and their inhabitants and walk through the nature trails and butterfly garden.
