This September the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in the Fort Myers, River District opens the season with a magnificent display of talent celebrating the Art Center’s 5th Anniversary.
The celebration begins with a retrospective exhibit of artists who have shown their work at the Davis Art Center over the past 5 years.
Artist Renée Rey will be among the 50 artists on display in September. Rey is proud to return with her award-winning, mixed media painting, “36, Bingo!”
Accomplished artists Marcus Jansen, David Acevedo, Lawrence Voytek, Michael St. Amand, Cesar Aguilar, David and Lily Hatchett, and Daniel Vendetti will join Rey by displaying their works at the exhibition through out the month.
Performing artists who have presented at the Davis Art Center in the past will return to entertain guests opening night.
The Davis Art Center’s 5th Anniversary Celebration will take place during Art Walk, on September 6, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
This event is free to the public and will be on display through September 26.
