Viva La Musica Kicks Off This Weekend at SeaWorld Orlando & Busch Gardens Tampa!

If you like Latin music and food you can’t miss Viva La Música, a Latin food and music festival that brings the best of the Latino culture to Florida.  Viva La Música will bring together some of the best Latino musicians paired together with delicious Latino cuisine.

Viva la Música at SeaWorld Orlando

On Saturdays starring on April 13 through May 4 Viva La Musica SeaWorld celebrates the food, fun, sights and sounds of Latin culture with an annual festival, featuring live concerts by internationally renowned Latin musical artists, all included with park admission.

Enjoy savory Latin cuisine prepared by SeaWorld Orlando’s Executive Chef, Héctor Colón. With more than 20 years experience – and a lifetime enjoying countless Caribbean and Latin dishes – Chef Héctor Colόn has added his touch to the traditional Latin favorites such as arroz con gandules, arroz con pollo, habichuelas rojas y maduros, churrasco, ceviche, alcapurrias and bacalaítos.

Viva La Música Concerts at SeaWorld Orlando

As with all SeaWorld special events, performances are included with daily admission, Fun Card or annual pass. Viva la Música festival activities begin at 12 p.m. each Saturday, with concerts starting at 3 p.m. at Bayside Stadium:

  • Saturday, April 13 – Daddy Yankee (reggaeton)
  • Saturday, April 20 – Willie Colón  (salsa)
  • Saturday, April 27 – Grupománia (merengue)
  • Saturday, May 4 – El Gran Combo (salsa)

Concerts are general seating. However, reserved seating for your favorite concerts is available with the Viva la Música VIP Package. Starting at $24, this special package includes a meal (entrée and any one item from a selection of side salads, side dishes or desserts, plus a regular-sized non-alcoholic beverage) at any Viva la Música food sampling area or SeaWorld cafeteria-style restaurant, plus reserved seating — Center Stage! VIP seating can be purchased separately starting at $14. Both packages are available at SeaWorldOrlando.com.

If you are planning to attend Viva la Música I recommend that you purchase an 2013 SeaWorld Fun Card – you can pay for a day and come back all year through Dec. 31, 2013, to enjoy unlimited admission to all SeaWorld Orlando special events. Plus, with a Fun Card, you can experience Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, SeaWorld Orlando’s newest, must-see attraction opening May 24, as many times as you’d like!

Viva La Música At Busch Gardens

You can also enjoy Viva La Música at Busch Gardens on Sundays at Busch Gardens® Tampa from April 14 through May 5. The festival begins at 12 p.m.

Concerts include Ednita Nazario, Oscar D’Leon, Milly Quezada and El Gran Combo. Concerts begin at 3 p.m. on Gwazi® Field.

Food With Sabor Latino at Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens will be offering a wide array of Latino inspired dishes like Quesadillas, Arepas, Pinchos and Empanadas and is excited to announce that Taco Bus will be a featured restaurant during Viva la Música. The Taco Bus, a local favorite, will beoffering traditional Mexican foods including Cochinita Pibil tacos, Pollo Verde and Asada tacos and refreshing drinks like Hibiscus Lemonade and Pineapple water. The Taco Bus has been featured on two Food Network shows: Man vs. Food and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.

    this sounds like it was a bunch of fun! My cousin lives in Florida and I have been wanting to go but I have to save the money. I hope maybe next year and I hope they have something like this next year when I can go. I would love to take my granddaughter!
